A very fun (and long) SUNNY DAY!!!

This past Sunday was a BEAUTIFUL day that we just had to take advantage of -- Kealani LOVES being outdoors so it was perfect! First we started by having a picnic at Capital Lake in downtown Olympia (the last time we were there was when Kealani was two weeks old and we kidnapped Noah from work to go have a picnic with us on his lunch break -- it felt like that was just yesterday!!). Then, we went to Tumwater Falls, it was great to reminisce about all the special times and memories we've had there, but this time we were able to share a memory with our daughter who had her first of MANY visits there. Here are some pics from our wonderful day...

She is just excited to be out of the car in the sunshine!

One of her favorite things that Daddy does...

enjoying the picnic...

she's discovering the feeling of grass for the first time...

can you tell she's happy when she's outside?!! LOL.

and now to the falls....
this is her first look at a waterfall...she was so mesmerized!!! love this look of her discovering something for the first time...

"wow, mom, this place is cool!"...

having a great time!

this is where Noah proposed to me, back in 2005... =)

... a closer look at the exact rock patch that we were on when Noah got down on one knee... awwww... =)
the Deschutes River. this is where my Daddy's ashes are... which is why Noah proposed at this location...

Daddy and Kealani are having fun!

both of them watching a mini waterfall on the side of the path...

rainbow!!

she's feeling the mist that sprays up on the bridge from the falls... =)

happy girls!

...watching another mini waterfall on the side of the path...

...i guess the sunshine really DOES make you tired! she just all of the sudden fell asleep on Noah as they were walking! At least she knew to wait until we were at the end of the trail! LOL...

She's OUT!

Sittin' in the shade, gettin ready to leave...

I love the one of her sleeping on Noah's chest. That is too precious. The one of Noah throwing her in the air though is kinda scary! LOL Looks like she's gonna go flying! That's great that you guys took her to that spot that means so much to your family. That is awesome.
