Noah's Dad's Cancer Surgery...

Sorry to those that have been asking how Noah's dad is doing... it's been a crazy week and tomorrow we leave for our Disneyland vacation so we've been busy preparing for that. Anyway, Noah's dad's cancer surgery went better than expected!! They have thought all along that in order to remove the whole tumor, they would have to take one of his kidneys, probably an adrenal gland, and possibly take a part of his liver, plus they were very concerned with a heart artery that was dangerously close to the tumor. Well, after his six-hour surgery, they ended up NOT having to take anything except a tiny piece of his liver! That's definitely an answered prayer. He got down-graded from the ICU and is on the road to (hopefully) a cancer-free future! He is, of course, still in a lot of pain (they had to break his ribs, etc. for the surgery) but at least he's on the mend now and no more DAILY pain from the cancer itself. Thank you to all of you for your continued prayers...

Our God is truly an awesome God. He's a God who heals and mends. Of course we will be praying for his recovery. Let us know if you guys need anything.
