R.I.P. "Tutu"

Today Noah's grandma Audrey (a.k.a. "tutu", which is "grandma" in hawaiian) lost her battle to cancer. She was diagnosed with stomach cancer over a year ago and this morning, she went to be with the Lord. Noah, his Mom, and his Dad were there by her side (in Noah's parent's house) when she took her last breath. While we are all extremely sad to see her leave this earth, we find peace in knowing that she's now up in heaven with her maker, and not suffering in constant pain anymore. I'm so thankful that she got to spend almost 5 months with Kealani. Tutu absolutely could NOT get enough of Kealani and I truly believe that she stayed here longer with us in part due to Kealani making her feel better and healthy whenever she was around. She often (several times a week!) asked to watch Kealani just because she needed her "fix" of being with Kealani and taking her mind off of her own health. And Kealani sure knew and loved her Tutu!! Whenever she saw her across the room or heard her voice she'd give a big smile and get very excited! It was so sweet and those are the memories that will help us through this tough time. We love and miss you Tutu, and know you are smiling down on us right now. We'll see you again someday...

We are very sorry for your loss. Jenn, you've talked about Kealani's great grandma before, and I know you all loved her very much. She is at peace and Kealani is lucky to have another angel on her shoulder for the rest of her life!
