Wow, we make big, healthy kids!! LOL.

We've realized our kids are sort of over-achievers, especially in the growth department! LOL. During a doctor appointment this morning, we found out that Kealani (who turned 2 years old yesterday!!) weighs 41 lbs. and is 37 1/2 inches tall! According to their growth charts, she is predicted to be over 6 feet tall when she's an adult! Yikes!! Of course that doesn't mean she WILL be, but sheesh!!! They even joked at the doctor's office that they are going to name a separate growth chart, for larger kids, the "Naipo chart". =)

Then there's Mr. Kainoa who is growing GREAT! He is now up to 7 lbs 12 oz! Remember he was only 5 lbs 13 oz at birth, and that wasn't even a month ago!! He is now 20 1/4 inches long (he was 19" at birth), and his head has also grown an inch. They were super impressed with him, as always! =) It's crazy to think that he is still supposed to be growing inside my tummy for a couple more weeks. Wow.

Noah's Mom got this "outfit" (well, we have the shirt that goes with it, so picture the COMPLETE outfit, lol) for Kealani to wear on her birthday, but then couldn't resist giving it to her early. LOL. Now Kealani won't stop "twirling". =)

Wow it's been too long since I last posted! LOL. We have been so busy -- I apologize. =) Well, Kainoa is now 3 1/2 weeks old! At his 2 week check-up appointment, he weighed a whole 6 lbs. 10 oz.!! He is definitely a growing boy! I'm sure he's at least 7 lbs. now. And he is eating GREAT!! He is SUCH a great baby -- only cries (if you can call it that; it's more of a whine or fuss) when he is hungry and sometimes if he has a dirty diaper. We cannot imagine our life without him and feel soooo incredibly blessed. Kealani is so in love with him too; she just can't get enough of him -- it's ADORABLE!! Kainoa is HOME!!!!!!

Yay!! Kainoa got released from the hospital today! He now weighs 6 lbs. 3 oz. (was 5 lbs. 13 oz. at birth) and is doing great! We are so blessed and thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support. I don't know how we would have made it through without our friends and family. It feels so wonderful to have him home and we can snuggle with him anytime we want. =) Our family feels complete. =)

Our little man is 2 weeks old... and COMING HOME!!!!!

Wow! I cannot believe that it's been 2 weeks since our little Kainoa made his arrival into this world. And the best news is that he gets to come home tomorrow!!!!!!! He is doing so well that they are discharging him earlier than they originally planned. What a champ he is! We are so proud of him. As of today, the disconnected him from all wires and tubes so I actually got to walk around with him today (still in the nursery but that's ok!)!! We are soooo excited to bring him home and finally introduce him to everyone, and be able to snuggle with him whenever we want!
